Big Brother Mouse
There's more to spiders than just spiderwebs

Spiders

Did you know that most spiders have eight eyes? Or that they don't chew their food. Instead, spiders inject venom to liquify their prey, then suck it in lunch like a smoothie. This beginner-level book features a short text in both standard English, and also with our Lao-based phonetic system which helps children pronounce the word correctly without memorizing a lot of new phonetic symbols. A Lao translation is included at the end.

The way I learned that some spiders can jump was... well, let's just say it was a surprise, and not a pleasant surprise.
