"Eat rice yet?" (gin kao layo?) is a common Lao greeting. "Eat tooth yet?" (gin kayo layo?) is how tooth bacteria greet each other in this comic book. Sugar candy is spreading through Laos much faster than toothpaste or dental hygiene. Some young children have already lost most of their teeth to decay. This comic is a fun and educational tool to supplement other efforts by parents, teachers, and health workers to stop stop this growing epidemic.
