Have you ever captured a fart in a bamboo tube, and used it to trick someone? No, we didn't think so. But Xieng Mieng did. That's a primary reason he became the #1 folk hero in Laos.
Our full collection of Xieng Mieng stories is immensely popular. This small-format book contains two of those stories, with a high picture-to-text ratio, to get young children started on the adventure of reading, and to leave them eager for more.

Actually, I did try to capture a fart in a bamboo tube once. It's harder than it looks!
