Why the Crab Makes Its Hole

One day it rains so hard that new streams run through the grassy field. A bad-mannered crab climbs out from the river, follows one of the streams, and claims it as his own. But when the rain stops and the field dries up, the crab doesn't know how to get back home - until he meets an unlikely friend.

Somboun had the idea for this book when he was caught in a downpour. He took shelter in a stranger's hut, and watched a crab that was still in the fields.
