The Yellow Book of Aesop's Fables

Aesop's Fables are fun, short, and easy to read. On top of that, each story presents a moral issue which it encourages children to think about. For example, "Don't talk loudly if you can't do anything."

For this set of three stories, Suthuk has simplified the Lao so that it uses only words that children can read at level 3 of our 7-stage "I Can Read!" program. Souliphone, our newest artist, has added colorful illustrations.

These stories use only half of the Lao letters. Children will discover that reading is fun, and get motivated to learn the rest of the letters.
