Daily life in southern Laos

We Live in Salavan

The Pakoh are one of 49 ethnic groups in Laos. About 13,000 Pakoh people live in Laos, nearly all in the southern province of Salavan.

With photos and short captions, two Pakoh children tell about their families and their everyday life: Feeding the chickens, carrying water, and pounding rice. This book can be read by children at level 6 of our "I Can Read" program.
