Parables have always been an effective way for a culture to pass on its moral values, and many of those values are the same worldwide.
Here are three popular parables from the classic works of Aesop. Each story provides enjoyable reading for younger Lao children, and English practice for older students. At the same time, the stories teach important lessons about human behavior and morality.
