Musical turtles, playful dinosaurs, and nasty bees ... you can't spell any of them without using complex vowels. Our tests showed that these vowels are a big impediment for children learning to read Lao. This book, which supplements book number 6 in our 'I Can Read' series, gives them practice.
Then, they're just one level away from being able to read any Lao book they can find, limited only by the difficulty of the subject matter, not by their reading ability.

The dinosaurs are my favorite part of this book. I'd be willing to learn ALL those complex vowels if I could have a dinosaur!
