Book parties in rural schools are the primary way that we get books to young readers. For several years, we took photocopied activity sheets, with puzzles, and pictures to color.
Now, we've replaced those sheets with this large-format, 16-page booklet. For grades 3 to 5, it includes word games, pictures to color, a maze, vocabulary challenges, a coded message, and much more -- so much that children continue to enjoy it long after the book party ends.
