A Lao girl visits Oz
Kam lives on a farm with her aunt and uncle. One day, a flood sweeps through the land. Kam is carried off by the rushing waters, and when she wakes up, she's in a strange land filled with people called Munchkins.
Does this sound vaguely familiar? It's our Lao adaptation of Frank Baum's classic children's book. It begins in Luang Namtha, but after Kam and Toto reach the land of Oz, the story largely follows the original. This is a shortened version, to be followed by the full-length original.
