Big Brother Mouse

Book party: Book parties are one way that Big Brother Mouse gets books to children in rural Lao villages. In primary schools we read from books, play games, sing songs, and have a drawing lesson. In high schools, we have a different set of activities. At the end, every student gets to choose a book, usually the first book they've ever owned. Then we give more to the school, for their library or classroom use.

In the past, we photocopied pictures to color and other activities, which we took to book parties. Thanks to the support of Planet Wheeler, we'll soon have a 16-page activity book for each child at a book party.

Here, we're testing some pages, to be sure we've got activities suitable for each age group.
