Few activities bring so many benefits to a family, so easily and enjoyably, as reading to children. But it's never been a tradition in Laos. Nor did most families have any books to read.
This booklet is one of many steps we're taking to change that. It discusses how, and when, and why, and what to read, so that sharing a book will not only bring parents and children closer, but will also foster an interest in books, learning, and education.
