A walk in the forest
As he walks through Laos, a young Buddhist monk stops each day and blesses a different tree. One tree he blesses because it provides food for people; another because it is a home for many animals; a third because it can be used to make houses. By the end of his journey, the monk takes a well-earned rest, and the reader has a better appreciation of Laos's natural resources.
